Recently relocating from South Africa, Quintin is excited to settle in BC with Station One Architects. With 13 years experience, he has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from single family residential, to large scale commercial, health care, educational and institutional buildings. Quintin has also gained comprehensive experience acting as the principal on projects, handling contract management, acting as office manager, and serving on committees for upcoming professionals.
Quintin is a registered Architect in South Africa and is in the process of becoming registered with the AIBC. His well-rounded experience, strong work ethic and attention to detail make him a valuable asset and addition to the Station One team.

Johannes grew up in the beautiful Garden Route region at the southern tip of South Africa. During his architectural education he served on a team for Habitat for Humanity and developed a passion for creating healthy, sustainable, and people-oriented houses for marginalized communities. Since completing his studies, Johannes has gained a wide variety of project experience working for architectural firms in Southern Africa, the UK, and Vancouver, BC, developing his career with numerous high-end residential, institutional, health care, and large-scale commercial projects. Johannes has enthusiastically joined us at SOA to broaden his professional experience within a multi-disciplinary team as well as to enjoy all the outdoor adventures the Fraser Valley has to offer. When not at the office, Johannes likes to spend time with his family and friends. Mountain biking, hiking, and cooking on the barbecue are his idea of a good time.

From a young age, Chris has been interested in the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of buildings, including how they were put together, why certain choices were made, and why they were designed a particular way. He brings his curiosity and a strong base of technical skills to Station One, contributing to the best possible outcomes for our projects.
Working in the industry while studying at BCIT fueled Chris’ drive and inspiration for architecture, and he gained valuable industry experience working on a wide range of projects. A sports fan, Chris is happy to play or watch any sport, and is a member of our very own SOA slo-pitch team. A lover of music, Chris listens to a collection of CDs of his favourite artists and bands, and also enjoys the beauty of the Fraser Valley photographing, hiking, and being in nature.

Alex set up an interior design and architecture company in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2016. He learned about international design standards and trends through his work on projects in Ukraine and other countries including Japan, Pakistan, the UK and Norway.
Alex was born and raised in Ukraine and moved to Canada in 2022 due to the war. His goal is to become an architect in BC.
Alex believes that there are no unsolvable situations. Those who want to move forward are looking for ways to solve problems. He is also a self-professed perfectionist in his approach to work.
Alex has a passion for sports and played tennis professionally. He also enjoys cycling, hiking and music, and learned to play the saxophone.

Mohammad has worked on architectural projects in five countries and more than 3.5 million sq.ft. of designed space. He has contributed to a diverse range of projects in India, Singapore, China, the USA and Canada, such as hotels, high-rise residential developments, business parks and single family homes (including net-zero and passive homes). Mohammad has a strong inclination towards arts and aspired to be an architect since childhood.
Being a lifelong student, Mohammad is always open to learning and is inquisitive about technology and sustainability. When he’s not at the office, he loves sketching, reading and working out.

Daniel-Paul has always been drawn to architecture as the discipline that combines art, engineering, and critical thinking to bring new structures to life. He appreciates the ways in which well-designed buildings bring people together, and he loves a thriving community.
Daniel-Paul completed an advanced diploma in Architectural Technology at Humber College, Toronto. He worked as an architectural technologist/designer in Toronto for four years, developing his BIM knowledge and creative problem-solving skills. In addition to his work experience, Daniel-Paul brings a great team attitude to SOA, which also comes out through his participation in team social events.
Outside of work, Daniel-Paul is an avid photographer, particularly in the areas of portraiture, landscapes, visual art, product photography, and photo manipulation. He is always continuously seeking knowledge and is not afraid of new challenges that help him grow both professionally and personally.
Stanley Alday

Stanley is currently completing a master’s degree in Architecture at the Boston Architectural College in Massachusetts. He joined SOA as an intern and hopes to become an architect. Stanley previously worked as a project coordinator and architectural technologist, and gained valuable experience working on high rise multi-family residential, commercial, and restaurant projects in Toronto.
Outside of work, Stanley enjoys sketching, running, and cycling.
