Chamber of Architects in Antalya, Turkey
After qualifying as an Architect in Turkey, Serap has enjoyed a challenging and diverse range of experiences. Over the years, her passion for architecture remained, but because of her love for details, interior design became her niche.
Having spent much of her career working internationally with projects in Canada, USA, and Turkey, her projects include high-end residential, hospitality, and yacht interiors.
Serap believes that the design of a modern interior is not just about the arrangement and finishes, it is about seamless integration of systems, and can be achieved by considering the architectural and technical elements in a design. Serap’s goal for the near future is to become a member of Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia (IDIBC).
Outside work, Serap enjoys spending time with her young daughter exploring, and enjoying the outdoors (which includes of course playgrounds)! Having a great appreciation for fine art and art history, Serap will visit art galleries whenever given the chance, and is especially fond of mosaic artwork from her home of Turkey which is steeped in rich ancient Roman and Greek history.
