It was during her fourth-year design thesis that she cemented her interest in designing for education. Selmarie values the importance of the design process itself, and has developed a keen interest in pushing the boundaries of education design. Her work reflects her background by consistently incorporating colour, patterns, and unique design solutions.

Selmarie is currently working towards writing her NCIDQ to become a Registered Interior Designer, as well as her WELL AP accreditation. Her favourite activities include sketching, rendering, cycling, running, and exploring the outdoors with her puppy Zeebee.
