Quiet and funny with a flair for sarcasm, well-expressed with her eyebrows, Andrea delights in designing spaces and environments that become a part of shaping the life stories of those who embrace, encounter, and engage with the design. Believing that everyone has a story where architecture plays an integral part, where people and communities embed into the walls and spaces meaning and memories, Andrea combines her love of calculus, physics, art/design, history, and cultural studies in her already notable design endeavors. When not at work, you can find her hiking, partaking in a photography adventure, consuming interesting science-fiction or architectural content, or scouting out another delicious local coffee roaster.

Architectural and Building Technology Diploma, BCIT
B. Architectural Science, BCIT – with distinction

Employment Summary

2021 – Present, Station One Architects
2018 – 2020, Structural Drafting Technician

A recent graduate from BCIT with a Bachelor of Architectural Science, Blake looks forward to applying his further developed knowledge of the built environment to our projects. Passionate about woodworking, he enjoys the involved process of designing something in his mind, working the idea out on paper, and then bringing it to life with his hands. This process is also enjoyable to Blake because there are so many ways something can be accomplished, and there might not always be a best way to do something, but in that pursuit, a feasible way can be found that will nearest solve the problem. Blake appreciates architecture for the same reasons. SOA welcomes his enthusiasm to build our 3D models virtually and work to problem solve while taking into consideration the trade offs and alternates that will most benefit each individual project.
