Nat is SOA’s in-house writer, providing creative copy for everything from high-stakes proposals to digital marketing. Experienced in adopting a wide range of different voices, she welcomes the challenge of finding you the words you didn’t know you needed.
Nat attended Montreal’s Concordia University, earning an interdisciplinary humanities degree covering Western philosophy, politics, history, music, and art. She then pursued a postgraduate certificate in Professional Writing and Communications from Humber College in Toronto.
Eager for any opportunity to put pen to paper, Nat wrote for marketing agencies, technology experts, HR recruiters, and event planners before finding her niche in the architecture world. Using her love of words to break down complex concepts into approachable language, she believes a good story can be sourced from anywhere.
Young Nat could often be found with her nose in a book… usually during gym class. While she remains a proud nerd to this day, she is now a nerd who also lifts heavy weights for fun in her makeshift home gym. She also enjoys exploring BC’s wilderness, preserving wild foraged food, and following Internet rabbit holes.
