Heather began her career with a Bachelor Degree of Interior Design at Ryerson University. This taught her how to create high quality technical and presentation drawings, material boards, and spatial layouts. Her curiosity for formal experimentation and material effects led her to pursue a Master’s Degree of Architecture, which she has completed at the University of Calgary. This combination of education has allowed her to understand and manipulate how interior and exterior conditions can influence and augment each other. Heather has recently completed her exams and is now a fully licensed architect!

Graduating as an Architect in France in 2016, Eloise has collaborated for years with a Parisian firm as project manager, mainly working on childcare buildings, commercial and residential projects. Passionate about art, two years were spent exploring the world of set design through theatre in Brisbane, Australia, and the film industry in Vancouver, Canada, before joining Station One in 2021. Striving to find balance between technicality and art, she strongly believes in the influence of architecture on mental and physical health.
When not using her talents at our firm, Eloise likes to engage with local people and listen to their advice during road trips and while exploring. Whether it’s backpacking, hiking, yoga, tai chi, or cooking, she enjoys following her own body rhythm and savors life, including all the interesting places she visits, capturing them in inspiring illustrations. Did we mention she also loves cheesy Bollywood movies too?

Jordan recently moved to the Fraser Valley and is excited to join the Station One Architects’ team. He began his architectural career in Lethbridge, Alberta where he had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects including educational, administration, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects from conception to completion.
Jordan has intent as a Registered Architect to establish environments, both public and private, that inspire and improve the quality of life of their occupants by stimulating a strong “sense of place.” Passionate about sustainable impacts the built environment has on each community, he strives to enhance his understanding of how design can enrich a person’s daily life experience. Jordan’s passion and focus on social sustainability was rewarded with a Calgary Mayor’s Urban Design Award in recognition of excellence in urban design and achievement in enhancing the quality of life in Calgary.
When he is not making our built environments a better place to live, Jordan enjoys playing hockey, going fishing, and other outdoor activities such as gardening. He also loves to travel, cook, and try new foods!

Greg Byrne is a senior associate at Station One Architects and has over 20 years of professional experience in project management, REVIT and AutoCAD. His extensive experience includes a range of project types including: residential, institutional, landscape and health care related projects. Greg’s managing experience, speed and accuracy and knowledge of REVIT is a highly valuable asset to successfully complete any project presented to the company. In the time Greg has been with Station One Architects, he has developed an extensive understanding and knowledge of construction, detailing and design issues, which have made him an invaluable asset to SOA.

Leon is a senior associate at Station One Architects and is the director of operations for the firm, having gained a wealth of knowledge from his past experience as a senior architectural technologist and project manager. Throughout his career he has gained extensive experience in a wide range of projects, including multi-family residential, mixed-use, affordable housing, and institutional projects. Known for having a keen eye for detail, Leon is a clear communicator and is respected by his peers for his professionalism and working as a team player. He thrives in managing and organizing the needs of clients, municipalities and consultants, and in implementing the various requirements with the architectural team during the design and production phases.
Leon believes that good architectural design is developed through a collaborative, evolutionary process that draws inspiration from many sources to bring a project to successful completion. His accreditation in LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and training in CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) are examples of his multi-faceted approach to design.

Andy is an associate with SOA, and has had a long standing interest in architecture and drafting. He is a 2012 BCIT graduate and holds his bachelor’s degree in architectural science. Since his graduation, Andy has worked on a variety of projects ranging from residential, commercial, & institutional, recently focusing on educational facilities. His involvement in a wide range of projects has provided him with valuable experience and knowledge in project execution & coordination. He also possesses an advanced knowledge of several architectural programs including REVIT, AutoCAD, Lumion Rendering, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro & After Effects. Andy has continued to advance his knowledge and skills with Station One and has become a licensed and insured drone pilot as well as a registered Architectural Technologist with the AIBC.
Andy’s attention for detail and leadership skills have made him an important part of the Station One team. As an associate, Andy is trusted to lead his team, and to ensure each project runs smoothly and that his clients are happy.

Recently relocating from South Africa, Quintin is excited to settle in BC with Station One Architects. With 13 years experience, he has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from single family residential, to large scale commercial, health care, educational and institutional buildings. Quintin has also gained comprehensive experience acting as the principal on projects, handling contract management, acting as office manager, and serving on committees for upcoming professionals.
Quintin is a registered Architect in South Africa and is in the process of becoming registered with the AIBC. His well-rounded experience, strong work ethic and attention to detail make him a valuable asset and addition to the Station One team.

Johannes grew up in the beautiful Garden Route region at the southern tip of South Africa. During his architectural education he served on a team for Habitat for Humanity and developed a passion for creating healthy, sustainable, and people-oriented houses for marginalized communities. Since completing his studies, Johannes has gained a wide variety of project experience working for architectural firms in Southern Africa, the UK, and Vancouver, BC, developing his career with numerous high-end residential, institutional, health care, and large-scale commercial projects. Johannes has enthusiastically joined us at SOA to broaden his professional experience within a multi-disciplinary team as well as to enjoy all the outdoor adventures the Fraser Valley has to offer. When not at the office, Johannes likes to spend time with his family and friends. Mountain biking, hiking, and cooking on the barbecue are his idea of a good time.
