Rob Powers is a retired landscape architect and a retired architect with over 30 years of professional experience. He is one of the founding partners of the firm, originally established in 1992 as Craven Huston Powers Architects. The marriage of architecture and landscape architecture brings a vital element to the work of the firm. Rob’s ability to visualize the inherent opportunities in a project’s site, optimizes the marriage of natural and built environments. Rob is an avid outdoorsman, who spends his leisure time hiking, camping, and kayaking the natural wonders of BC.

Bronwyn grew up in Northern Canada (Yellowknife, NT), where she developed an interest in environmental and Indigenous issues in Canada. Her love of art and design aligned with her passion for environmental issues, eventually leading her to pursuing the field of landscape architecture. As a 2019 SSNAP finalist, Bronwyn brings her design background from Emily Carr and the U of T Daniels’ Faculty to SOA. Bronwyn is currently working towards earning her BCSLA landscape architecture registration and accreditation. Outside of work, Bronwyn likes to try various BC craft beers, bake cheesecakes, play volleyball and tennis, and beat her summer reading record.

Passionate about relevant social issues such as sustainability, equity, and seniors’ rights, Saba views her work in architecture as a means of achieving positive change within communities. As a researcher at McGill University, she focused on developing an age inclusive action plan for the City of Montreal, gaining diverse experience in architectural design and planning with the most vulnerable age demographic in mind.
Saba trained a Landscape Architect and Urban Designer, complementing her wide range of skills with her multidisciplinary academic background and experience in Canada and abroad. Saba’s experience in landscape is focused on residential, commercial, and public developments. Her work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, provided her with the opportunity to gain specialized skills in software (including AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Sketch-up, Rhinoceros, InDesign, and Photoshop) while learning more about culture, art, and lifestyle in Southeast Asia.
