Heather began her career with a Bachelor Degree of Interior Design from Toronto Metropolitan University which later led her to a Master’s Degree of Architecture at the University of Calgary. Her combination of education gives her the ability to understand the influence of both interior and exterior environments, allowing her to augment their conditions and create a holistic design that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Heather acts as Project Lead and Coordinated Registered Professional on many of SOA’s supportive, affordable and complex care housing projects.

Iryna set up an interior design and architecture company in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2016. She learned about international design standards and trends through her work on projects in Ukraine and other countries including Japan, Pakistan, the UK and Norway. Irene was born and raised in Ukraine and moved to Canada in 2022 due to the war. She has three degrees in the fields of Fine Arts and Interior Design. Her goal is to become a registered Interior Designer in BC.
Iryna has been fascinated by art since early childhood and was enrolled in an art school at the age of 10. Her work has been showcased at various art exhibitions in Ukraine. She was attracted to interior design because designers can create beautiful and functional spaces that people love to experience and return to.
Iryna enjoys music and plays the piano. She also has a lifelong love of sports, including tennis, cycling, hiking, skating and snowboarding. She loves to overcome her fears and challenge herself.

After graduating from in June 2023, Madison started her career at a residential firm where she practiced as an apprentice. Working on warm and inviting living spaces deepened her love for intentional design, and helped further her appreciation for shared social spaces.
Since joining SOA, Madison is eager to work on larger projects that have even more social impact. As a strong collaborator, she loves making new connections and takes a special interest in getting to know her clients. Her love for people and the relationship with the built environment informs her approach to design for wellness and enrichment. This approach serves her in her pursuit of becoming a registered interior designer.
Madison is proud to work with diverse groups, and actively seeks for opportunities to build meaningful partnerships within SOA’s locality. Her ability to bring people together is valued in the projects she undertakes, and the causes she supports.
