Marleigh has developed a keen interest in architecture and design since childhood. They bring an Indigenous and philosophical perspective to creating community spaces, employing their technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and InDesign to visualize designs. Marleigh’s community advocacy led them to the affordable and care housing team at SOA, where they are ecstatic to be contributing to projects that align with their personal values.

Marleigh enjoys many creative and playful pursuits, such as Dungeons and Dragons, physical and digital arts, photography, cosplay and costume design, hiking, camping and going on adventures with friends. A self-proclaimed ‘Jack of All Trades,’ they see the interconnected nature of life and the architectural industry and hope to continue the pursuit of education from this multidisciplinary approach. Marleigh aspires to be an architect.

Raised in the Kootenays, Sean developed an interest in buildings from an early age. He moved to Toronto to study Architectural Technology at Centennial College. During his final year at college, Sean worked in residential construction to gain hands on experience, learning about building processes and methods utilized at the job site. Sean brings creativity, technical proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and practical knowledge to his role as Drafting Technician with Station One Architects.

Outside of work, Sean enjoys keeping active, whether he’s at the gym, enjoying the outdoors, or experiencing the cold rush of the ski season. By far his favorite pastime is spending time with friends and family.

Cameron first came to Station One Architects while undertaking a practicum as part of his architectural drafting certificate at BCIT. His faith and his passion for history inspired his interest in architecture. His 3D printing skills are often used at the office to help us showcase our designs, and his keen attention to detail ensures that the drawings he produces precisely follow the requirements of the project.

Outside of work, Cameron’s outdoor pursuits range from going out for walks with his girlfriend and their two dogs to archery and axe throwing. At home, he enjoys 3D printing new models and learning to paint said models. He is also slowly learning to become fluent in both German and Latin.

Hailey was first introduced to drafting in high school where she was quickly drawn to the fusion of creativity, technicality and problem solving involved in drafting and designing. Her interest only grew when she became heavily involved in the process of building her family home. She then chose to pursue the craft and studied Architectural Drafting at the University of the Fraser Valley. She obtained her first job in the industry at Station One Architects and is excited to see what her future in architecture will hold.

Hailey has always been intrigued by different cultures and architectural styles from around the world, which she has had the chance to experience firsthand during her travels. Outside of work, you can find Hailey spending time with family and friends, enjoying music, eating delicious food or getting lost in the mountains somewhere. She is always up for an adventure!

Zachary began his career in film production, working in set design and administration. He has always had a knack for design and drawing, and went on to study Architectural Drafting at BCIT. He now utilizes his eye for design as a valuable member of SOA’s drafting team.

Zachary is also an artist with an interest in printmaking, painting, and design.

Aidan’s interest in architecture began at an early age, crafting detailed floor plans that included electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. After completing his ASCT Certificate at BCIT, he brought his passion for design to Station One Architects.

Aidan is drawn to unique concepts and has an interest in mid-century modern design. Outside of work, he loves going for walks and developing his barista skills making coffee and lattes.

Simran’s background as a technical consultant for Lumon Canada Inc. taught her valuable skills that she brings to her current role, from developing her drafting experience to liaising with municipalities, permit coordinators and structural engineers. She maintains a collaborative and professional approach to her work. Her main objective is to collaborate with clients to develop projects that reflect their goals.

Outside of work, Simran keeps busy by going to the gym, taking dance and yoga classes, watching movies and walking her dog.

Dominic’s interest in architecture stems from his exposure to the construction industry growing up. High school drafting courses inspired him to pursue a career in architectural drafting, and he received a certificate in Architectural Drafting from the University of the Fraser Valley.

Outside of work, Dominic enjoys hunting and dirt biking, and gets outside in the winter on his snowboard.
