Originally drawn to architecture by his late grandfather, Jaya blends conceptual depth with hands-on skill to create spaces that resonate emotionally. His early interest in philosophy and product design helps him bring abstract ideas to life, believing architecture is philosophy made tangible. As an agent for change, he launched a climate active network at Northumbria University, and led a recycled, mobile youth space for Escape2Make.

Jaya joined Station One in 2025 as a designer championing sustainability in design. He is a reliable and collaborative team member who views the architect’s primary role as communicator, translating abstract concepts like atmosphere, place, and space into real-world materials, details and measurements.

Outside the office, Jaya deepens his relationship with nature by taking long walks birdwatching. He is an avid reader, enjoys rock climbing and making music.

Sunny joined Station One in 2025 as a student designer, bringing a contagious level of enthusiasm for every one of her projects. Her lifelong interest in storytelling through design has blossomed into a fulfilling career that sees art and impact come together. By designing meaningful spaces for small communities, she strives to harness that impact by translating the users needs into beautiful and functional environments.

Sunny is a natural leader, with experience guiding a team through a competitive design process. Her passion for architecture projects at every size and scale size is evident in her patience and dedication to her projects.
