YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and enhance SOA’s BIM workflows, ensuring precision and efficiency in every project.
• Develop and coordinate BIM execution plans to meet project goals, schedules, and client expectations.
• Train, mentor, and support our talented team in BIM standards, best practices and tools.
• Collaborate with internal and external project teams to achieve accurate and efficient model development and seamless integration with multi-disciplinary models.
• Develop and coordinate office-wide BIM standards, staying ahead of industry trends.
• Develop and maintain organized data management systems, including file storage and sharing
• Effectively lead presentations in BIM concepts and processes to clients, consultants and internal team.
• Plan for, manage and troubleshoot BIM-related challenges, software, templates, and libraries.
• Assist with IT-related tasks, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, liaise with IT support.

YOUR CAPABILITIES

• Mastery of Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
• In-depth understanding and practical application of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
• Strong coordination skills to integrate multi-disciplinary models.
• Effective presentation and communication skills for large and small, internal and external, groups
• Exceptional strategic leadership skills for large and small teams.
• Familiarity with initial design to construction documentation and processes.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with a commitment to quality and innovation, flexibility to pivot.
• Ability to work collaboratively and support a positive team environment.
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in architectural technology.
• Experience with architectural visualization tools and software, including VR/AR and Lumion.
• Knowledge of cloud-based collaboration platforms such as BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Basic understanding of coding or scripting to enhance BIM workflows.
• Previous experience managing IT infrastructure within a small to medium-sized firm.
• In person office role preferred; remote or hybrid position may be considered.

YOUR CREDENTIALS

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Building Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM management, ideally within an architectural firm.
• Proven track record of leading successful BIM implementation.

COMPENSATION

• Starting salary: $70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
• Full extended health & dental benefits, premiums paid by SOA, not you.
• Continuing education and professional registration dues reimbursed.
