With the growth on the South side of Chilliwack the need for a library became apparent to the City. Sent out as a proposed Design Build Project, Station One Architects teamed up with Titan Construction to produce a beautiful and functional Library for the City of Chilliwack. The perfect location chosen by the City alongside the busy Twin Rinks arena and Slesse Middle School. There was also an existing park and playground to work around. This full combination of amenities in close proximity enhanced the neighborhood.

The new library was constructed with durable concrete tilt-up, open web joists, steel decking, spectacular architectural wood structural features both within the building and on the exterior. There is an expansive exterior covered entrance for bike storage and benches to enjoy some outdoor reading. The exterior features corrugated metal cladding and large aluminum glazed windows for a bright interior.
