OneSchool Global’s educational ecosystem was a perfect match for SOA’s 21st Century Learning Principles
The Vancouver OneSchool campus is a new facility for the OneSchool Global organization, situated in the Township of Langley.
The site, nestled between 44th Avenue and the Fraser Highway, consists of two main teaching buildings and a west facing gymnasium. A reduced size sports field is located to the west of the buildings, and all buildings were set back on the site in order to allow for the most effective use of space. An allocated area in the northeast corner of the site was selected for future development. A playground area for elementary school students is protected by the southeastern corner of the property.
The finalized design resulted in two blocks: north facing classrooms with two larger sized teaching areas for elementary and secondary school students, complete with smaller breakaway rooms, a gymnasium, a stage performance area, and a home economics room.
